Why I love Flight Simulator and a History
I have been flyng with Flight Simulator for 20 years, although my interest in aviation started when i was a young kid. My first flight simulator was FSFW95 whcih came out for the Windows OS of the same year. I learned pretty much everything i know from that version of Flightsim. My love for this hobby, a with many other small hobbies. I was playing a game on a computer in a computer that was called flight simulator. I knew nothing of this program. But after i played this game in the store i asked about getting it for xmas and that xmas i recieved FSFW95. I installed it on xmas day and was instantly addicted.
When i first flew FSFW95 I had never used a flightsim before and everything was new for me. I recieved FS95 on christmas along with a joystick (wasnt sidewinder at that time). I had to learn to virtually fly each plane and get used to it. I didnt go for FS98, or FS2k but i went for FS2k2 and FS2k4. I downloaded FSX demo and then after steam released a version of FSX i kinda really like it!!.
I have, since my start of the flightsim career used only the keyboard. I have at times used a joystick but never used a yoke. Im flying at night i hope im nott waking up the house with each keystroke. My keyboard takes a pounding when i land everytime.
"Sometimes when i fly if am not doing long arjous flights im usually doing touch and goes or flypasts of some sort with a plane just like this on the left. One day back in 2009 i broke my own record of how many touch and goes i could do, all while waiting for the AI Westjet aircraft to leave."
